Classes at GD&PAA are based on Martha Graham and Lester Horton technique, exploring the style of theatrical dancing that is not as restricted as classical ballet.

Engage your toddler’s imagination! In this class, children ages 3-5 will learn the basics of classical ballet while pretending to be a part of their favorite fairytale. This class is designed to teach ballet terminology and movements, with an emphasis on musicality, dress up and story play.
This FUN, high energy class is designed to expose young children the exciting world of Broadway musicals! With the use of songs from classic and contemporary Broadway shows, emphasis is placed on singing, characters through creative play, and basic dance technique. Students will have lots of opportunity to use props, wear costume pieces, and perform! This class helps students build confidence through the performing arts in a safe and nurturing environment.
Ages 2½-3; through varying rhythms, styles and tempos, tiny dancers gain spatial awareness, interactive movement, develop imagination and gain an introduction to basic ballet movements.
Ages 3-5; through many music styles, dancers garner strength in independent movement and cooperative movement while developing imagination and gaining an introduction to basic ballet and jazz movements.

We start each class with 30 minutes of tap and end with 30 minutes of basic tumbling. This is a great way to introduce your child to the world of dance!

Classes focus on fitness, flexibility, core and spine strength. Using hand weights, bands and balls for mat work along with standing and floor exercises done to upbeat music; an intense full body workout to get the student strong and lean.
Zumba! Latin Dance-Fitness fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves from salsa, merengue, cumbia ,quebradita and more, creating a dynamic fitness program that will blow you away! Routines feature interval sessions where fast and slow rhythms are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat, focusing strongly on increasing strength and flexibility in the core.
